Changing RAM

OK...well, this is a work in progress, obviously. The 7600GT is being RMAed for a replacement. I'm going to give it another shot when I get the replacement card. Additionally, I've decided to return the RAM and get some Corsair RAM instaead. Corsair is listed as a supported brand by MSI for this board, so I'm going to stick to their specs. I've just had too many strange things happening to this rig in the past 48 hours. So, it's back to basics.

Sorry to hear that dude, but it sounds all too familiar;-) Anyhow, sounds like other than a few hiccups. Things are moving along, this is HTPC goodness;-)

Ill update mine later today. Not doing much of anything right now on the week off!

Yeah, it's not just an HTPC statement, though...it's today's PC environment. Things are flying so fast, that if one piece of timing, voltage or anything is off, then it cascades into something catastrophiic. Gone are the days when you can slap a DX2 66 into your mobo, change the jumpers to make the FSB a whopping 33MHz and slap in that extra 8MB or RAM to bring that state of the art rig up to 16MB! Holy shit, I'm old!

Anyway, everything IOm' looking at is hardware related, I'm certain of it. If the RAM/Video Card replacement does not do the trick, then I'm gonna go after the PSU next. Trial and error!
